3-Star Family Hotel with Pirate-Themed Basement Bar & Homemade Festive Afternoon Tea
Amenities & Entertainment
The on-site pirate-themed basement bar offers a well-stocked bar, indoor games including pool, board games, and a Super Nintendo console for children. A homemade festive afternoon tea with mince pies and Prosecco is included for guests staying 2 nights on Friday. The hotel provides complimentary children's entertainment options in the bar and a range of DVDs and books for loan.
Rooms & Breakfast
Each en-suite room has a flat-screen LCD TV, a welcome tray with tea and coffee, and complimentary toiletries. Selected family rooms include a mini-fridge, a separate living area, and a curtain divider for children's privacy. A freshly cooked or continental breakfast is served in the dining room each morning, with a real coffee machine and fruit juice available.
Location & Transportation
The hotel is a 200-metre walk from the promenade and beach, and within 10 minutes' walk of Blackpool South train station. Guests have easy access to the seafront tramway for reaching Blackpool Tower, Pleasure Beach, and Sandcastle Waterpark. Free parking is available for both cars and motorbikes on the premises.

“The Hurstmere immediately struck me with its thoughtful seaside touches, a charming detail that complements its prime position just a short stroll from the Pleasure Beach and promenade. Julian and Alison clearly take pride in their establishment, evident in the crisp, refreshed decor and the genuine warmth extended to guests. I found the en-suite rooms to be well-appointed and exceptionally clean, with the breakfast spread a pleasant surprise in its variety and quality, particularly the real coffee.”
